As a web developer, one area I’ve admittedly been lacking is Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Clients have come to me with the question, “how can I get my site listed higher in search results?” My basic answer was usually, “reciprocal links”. Get sites with high traffic to link to you. Its true, it works, but easier said than done.
I stumbled upon this write-up today that gives a relatively simple yet detailed description of a few ways to Increase Web Traffic to your site.
I will most definitely take all of these into consideration when building my next site, as well as updating some current sites to adhere to these “rules”.
